Sifu Jim Mc Coy teaches general breathing (qigong) and Taichi exercises in addition to a simplified form of Taichi.
The main form consists of 8 basic movements that cut right to the heart of Taichi. This form is suitable for seniors, begiiners and intermediate students who wish to add a new form to thier Taichi practice.
Jim Mc Coy is a 2nd Level Taichi Instructor certified by the Christian Black Belt Association. He teaches Taichi for the City of Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation as well as at Senior Centers and Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centers.
He is the U.S. Director for Koroho Goshinjutsu / International Martial Arts and Culture Federation, based in Osaka, Japan. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Martial Arts International Society and is currently a Director with the World Martial Arts Union.
